Learn about art, sculpture and architecture from the time of the ancient Greeks to the present day, with the head of art history at Wellington College, Adam Rattray. Adam is passionate about the subject and his enthusiasm is infectious.
From Michelangelo to Van Gogh, Caravaggio to Cezanne: explore the history of some of the most extraordinary works of art ever created. Find out more about artists from Titian to Monet, learn about styles and movements in art from Classicism to Impressionism, study buildings from the Acropolis to the Eiffel Tower and look at sculptures such as Michelangelo's David and Rodin's The Kiss.
Adam has taught students of every age and ability and he makes sure that no prior knowledge is required for his courses. You do not need to be able to draw or paint or be a "creative". There is no exam at the end and no formal lectures. The evenings are informal in style and will begin with a reception, followed by just over an hour of discussion on the topic.
Please contact the gallery for more information on our next course.
Small group visits to London galleries, museums and churches can also be arranged. If you are interested in a tailored tour with Adam, please contact the gallery at firstname.lastname@example.org.
