Roger Marcel Limouse 1894-1990

Left Tunisia in 1919 to study with P. A. Laurens at the Julian Academy in Paris. He traveled to Italy, Norway, Holland, Belgium, Spain and Morocco. He was a contemporary of Henri Matisse and exhibited with the painters of the “Realite Politique” in 1956.

 

In 1933 Limouse was awarded the “Prix des Vikings”. He exhibited in Paris at the Salon of French Artists ; the Salon des Independants, the Salon D’Autumne and the Salon des Tuileries.
