We have acquired some great Modern British works for the gallery, by artists such as William Brooker, Alan Caiger-Smith, John Craxton, Elizabeth Frink, Patrick Heron, Howard Hodgkin, Gerald Laing, Victor Pasmore, Mary Potter, Matthew Smith and Julian Trevelyan, as well as a group of paintings from the estate of Philip Jones (illustrated Philip Jones, Clermont March 1st, 1998, oil on paper, 21 x 29 in).
Our website will also be updated with more Modern British works prior to our exhibtion in London in mid-June.
