The Fowling Pool is a scenic spot in the Trevider Valley near Lamorna, Cornwall. It was a favourite picnic location for Birch and his family, situated along the Milk Walk, an old farmer's route to the Lamorna milk factory (now Lamorna Pottery). The Bowerman Trust have a slightly later and much larger version of the same subject and Penlee House hold a 1904 painting from the area.
