The present picture relates to a slightly larger work, entitled A View on Exmoor with Bushes in Blossom, in the collection of the Munnings Museum, Dedham. It was painted in the garden of Batsom Farm, whilst Munnings was living there, and the view is across the Barle valley looking at great Bradley estate.
