The present work, Horizontal Dogs, is a 1995 etching and aquatint by David Hockney. Showing two dogs sweetly sleeping on a bed, the print is one of two in the Stanley and Boodgie suite, which also includes 'Vertical Dogs'. Another related print, 'Small Dog', of a smaller sheet size, shows the two from a different angle.
