Rope Yard is the private cobbled courtyard hidden behind Jenna Burlingham Gallery. The name reflects the site's eighteenth-century use as a rope merchant’s home and workshop. Today the Yard incorporates Rope House (the main Gallery building), Rope Studio (a separate exhibition and event space), Rope Loft (a one-bedroom apartment above the Studio) and Rope Cottage (a two-bedroom house adjoining the main gallery building). The Studio and Yard are available to rent for selected events, while the Loft and Cottage are available to rent for holidays from November 2023.

Rope Studio is a large open-plan exhibition space occupying the ground floor of a converted barn behind the gallery. It includes a fully equipped commercial kitchen, café facilities and a downstairs loo. The Studio can be rented alone or in conjunction with the the cobbled Yard outside for selected events.
Rope Loft is a one-bedroom apartment on the first floor above the Studio. A separate private entrance at the side of the building opens onto a hallway, from which stairs lead to a central space with a work station. This area opens onto a double bedroom with Kingsize bed, a shower room, a utility room, a sitting room and a small kitchen and dining area. The larger Studio kitchen downstairs (accessed via an interconnecting door) can be rented in addition if available. There is a small outside terrace beside the front door with a table and chairs.
Rope Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage adjoining Rope House, the main gallery building. The ground floor is open-plan with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area at one end, and a comfortable sitting room at the other. There is also a utility room and a separate downstairs loo. Upstairs a landing with cupboards opens onto a double bedroom with Kingsize bed on one side, and a twin bedroom on the other, with a bathroom between them. There is a small outside terrace area with a table and chairs.
