We are delighted to announce the opening of our new gallery with an inaugural ‘Winter’ exhibition.
The gallery has expanded with a move to Rope House on the same street as our original building in Kingsclere. The new space, once a 19th-century rope merchant’s home and workshop, has the feeling of an informal townhouse. It has open galleries at ground level and a drawing room, library and dining rooms upstairs, with artworks displayed in these domestic interiors.
From 5th - 8th November we will be holding an Open Weekend for our ‘Winter’ exhibition. This will showcase work by Modern British artists Ivon Hitchens, Winifred Nicholson, Mary Potter, William Nicholson, Keith Vaughan, Prunella Clough, John Piper, Ben Nicholson, Bryan Wynter, William Scott and Patrick Heron, among others.
Showing alongside these established painters will be a selection of work by contemporary artists such as Martin Yeoman, Nicholas Turner, Keith Purser, Sam Lock, Richard Fox and Emma Maiden.
All works can be seen online or in the Hampshire gallery, with on-site viewings available by arrangement throughout the UK.
