Overview

In November 2016, we held our first solo exhibition of the work of Nicholas Turner (RWA).

Quiet was a curated collection of over forty paintings by Turner celebrating his reflective style of painting. Turner takes inspiration from the St Ives School and tradition of Modern British art. His subject matter is harbours, boats, buildings, landscpaes and still lifes. as well as the occasional solitary figure. Nick's work is unified by a stillness and sense of calm as well as a lyrical quality suggesting stories untold.

The exhibition was held in the gallery in Kingsclere.
