Jenna Burlingham
Jenna founded her gallery in Kingsclere in 2010 and it has since become a destination for buyers of Modern British and Contemporary paintings, prints, sculpture and ceramics. Having worked first as a Specialist at Philips (later Bonhams), and later as a Director of a key London gallery, Jenna has a comprehensive knowledge of the art market built up over nearly three decades.

Nathan Barker
Nathan has been working with the gallery for around eight years and is involved with all areas of the business. He studied at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, where he focused on middle-eastern art and architecture. Growing up in Cornwall and London, Nathan has found British Modernism an inspiration from a young age. Nathan now lives in Hampshire and works with the gallery and private collectors.

Hannah Jennings
Hannah studied Fine Art at Newcastle University and RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. After graduating, Hannah worked with international galleries and auction houses, before joining Jenna Burlingham Gallery in 2020. She worked part-time alongside another fine art business in London, where she is based, before joining full-time in January 2021.

Lydia Wingfield Digby
Lydia, part-time, joins the gallery with twenty years' of experience as a specialist in Modern and Post-War British Art, most recently as Deputy Director in the Modern British department at Sotheby’s, London. Previously, Lydia headed the same department at Christie’s, South Kensington. She read Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic at Girton College, Cambridge where she was inspired by volunteering at Kettle's Yard.

Camilla Trefgarne
Camilla, part-time, has worked with Modern British Art for twenty-five years. After studying History at Cambridge University, Camilla became a Specialist in the 20th-Century British Art department at Christie’s in King Street. She went on to work with a well-known private dealer and collector before joining the Jerwood Foundation where she looked after the painting and sculpture collections.

Galina Valavani
Galina, part-time, joined the gallery in 2018 and now oversees the daily accounts and liaises with our contemporary artists. With a degree in European Studies and Italian, Galina started her career at Phillips Auctioneers (later Bonhams), before working as the Gallery Manager at a key London art gallery for 11 years, where she was closely involved with the estates and families of a number of leading 20th-century artists.

Michelle Martin
Michelle, consultant, is a chartered accountant and looks after the financial management at the gallery. Born in Australia, Michelle was trained by Arthur Anderson before working in senior finance roles for larger corporations before setting up on her own in 2010. Now with over thirty years' experience, Michelle focuses on helping creative and innovative small businesses west of London.
